The unit has 4 myographes (Multi myograph model, DMT) and 4 arteriographs (PS/200/Q.MODA, Living System Instrumentation) dedicated to the ex vivo studies of muscle and endothelial functions in models of isolated vessels.

Vascular reactivity is determined after the measurement of key cardiovascular parameters (blood pressure using the tail cuff or telemetry, local blood flow using Doppler probes Transonic or probes).
